Dr. Jacque LaBarre specializes in all aspects of obstetric and gynecological care. This allows us to concentrate our attention, expertise and training to your personalized care.

Dr. LaBarre also has special expertise in minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopic) including da Vinci Robotic Gyn Surgery. Dr. LaBarre has been in private practice in South Shreveport for 35 years. He has more experience than anyone in the last 12 years with Gyn Robotic Surgery in the Shreveport area doing hysterectomies, ovarian disease, endometriosis, and pelvic adhesions all with this minimally invasive technique. He is certified in advanced laparocopy by the American Association of Gynecology Laparoscopist since 1996. Dr. LaBarre has been selected by Intuitive Surgical to teach and train other surgeons the da Vinci Robotic Hysterectomy Procedure and has instructed several surgeons throughout Louisiana.

The great feature of these surgeries is the patient benefit. Usually there are only 3 or 4 small punctures instead of a large cut in the abdomen. Most patients are able to be discharged home same day of surgery including hysterectomy patients. We realize that your time is very valuable and with quick recovery time , you may return to work in as little as one to two weeks.
